How do I sign up to volunteer?
  1. Register as a Volunteer to provide your contact information and complete our volunteer waiver.
  2. Schedule a Shift to select a date and volunteer role that works best for you. Join our Kitchen, Serving, or Cleanup team.
  3. That’s it! If you have any questions or trouble, please contact us.

We offer three main volunteer roles during our Weekly Monday Meal Service. You can volunteer for one or multiple shifts based on your availability.

  • Kitchen Team, 2-5 PM: Assist with meal preparation and cooking. Tasks include chopping ingredients, cooking, and plating meals.
  • Serving Team, 5-7 PM: Serve meals and interact with our guests. Tasks include serving food, refilling beverages, safety monitoring and engaging with guests.
  • Cleanup Team, 6-7 PM: Help with cleaning and organizing after the meal service. Tasks include washing dishes, cleaning tables, and storing supplies.

Yes, group volunteering is encouraged! If you’re bringing more than four people, please contact us in advance so we can accommodate your group.

If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible canceling the shift online, or by emailing or calling us. This helps us ensure we have enough volunteers for each shift.

When you register as a volunteer or schedule a shift for the first time, we automatically create a personal account for you. The “My Account” feature allows you to:

  • Edit Your Profile: Update your contact information, emergency contacts, and any relevant skills or certifications.
  • Manage Your Shifts: View your scheduled shifts, sign up for additional ones, or cancel if necessary.
  • Set Notification Preferences: Choose how you’d like to receive updates and reminders—via email, SMS, or both.

 

How to Access Your Account:

  1. Login:
    • Visit our website and click on the “My Account” link at the top of the page.
    • Enter the email address and password you registered with.
  2. First-Time Users:
    • If this is your first time logging in, click on “Forgot Password.”
    • Enter the email address you used during registration.
    • Check your email for a password setup link and follow the instructions.
  3. Navigate Your Dashboard:
    • Once logged in, you’ll arrive at your personal dashboard.
    • From here, you can edit your profile, manage your shifts, and adjust notification settings.
